Fixed-Point Acceleration in MATLAB - Accelerating execution speed of fixed-point algorithms in MATLAB and Simulink

Publisher review:
Fixed-Point Acceleration in MATLAB - Accelerating execution speed of fixed-point algorithms in MATLAB and Simulink This webinar was recorded on March 22, 2007. It introduces new capabilities for modeling and simulation of fixed-point algorithms in MATLAB and Simulink. Attendees will discover how by using MATLAB , Simulink and featured Toolboxes and Blocksets they can better model and design fixed-point algorithms and substantially accelerate the simulation speed of their M-code while performing design validation and trade-off analysis. Through demonstrations, we will showcase specific features of Fixed-Point Toolbox, Simulink Fixed-Point and related products including Signal Processing Blockset, Real-Time Workshop, and Video and Image Processing Blockset and show how these features help users tackle problems and challenges including - Converting an algorithm from a floating-point to a fixed-point representation - Accelerating the execution speed of fixed-point M-code, both in MATLAB workspace or within a Simulink model - Using Simulink and Real-Time Workshop, to automatically generate C-code from a well-defined subset of the MATLAB language with the Embedded MATLAB Function block Requirements: · MATLAB Release: R2007a · Fixed-Point Toolbox · Real-Time Workshop · Signal Processing Blockset · Signal Processing Toolbox · Simulink · Simulink Accelerator
